Why Sweet Water?

There was a lot of celebration going on when the Israelites walked away from a bad situation in Egypt.  They were heading toward the promised land!  But just three days into the journey they hit bitter waters...water they had trouble swallowing. 

Does this sound like your marriage and family?  Did you meet the man or woman of your dreams and set off into the sunset toward happily ever after only to find yourself wondering if you've made a terrible mistake?

Well, God made the bitter waters sweet by applying the tree to it.  And there is hope for you and your spouse to drink some fresh, sweet water in your marriage as well.

Author and speaker, Terri Clark, uses her years of experience to weave stories from her own family into a powerful application of biblical principles to the emotional issues that tear step-couples apart.

Our goal for the Sweet Water Couples Retreat is to help couples find hope and real help for their marriages as they make the long journey through their own wilderness trials toward a solid, loving  marriage and home.
